Joint Base Lewis-McChord Mission Command Training Capability

TechWise is pleased to announce one of our newest contracts at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), WA. TechWise supports a Task Order for the JBLM Mission Command Training Capability (MCTC) under the Operations, Planning, Training, and Resource Support Services II (OPTARSS II) Unrestricted Contract beginning in December 2011.

MCTC is the US Army vehicle for providing Individual and Collective Training on Army Battle Command Systems using a variety of tools and Army-fielded Systems. These Systems are used to support small Unit (Squad through Company), Medium Unit (Battalion through Brigade) and Large Unit (Divisions and Corps) in training environments ranging from Stability and Support Operations (SSO) through Full Spectrum Operations (FSO). TechWise provides the majority of Information Technology and Networking Support for this effort.

TechWise’s OPTARSS II Program Manager, Kevin Grimme, travelled to JBLM the first week of December and conducted over 30 interviews to fill our positions. We are able to retain most of the current incumbent employees, while providing opportunities to introduce new candidates with varied experiences and new ideas to JBLM MCTC. With this award, TechWise looks forward to continuing our long history of providing first-class support to our Armed Forces.
