Background Checks
TechWise believes that hiring qualified individuals to fill positions contributes to the overall strategic success of TechWise.   Background checks serve as an important part of the selection process at TechWise.   This type of information is collected as a means of promoting a safe work environment for current and future Techwise employees. Background checks also help TechWise obtain additional applicant related information that helps determine the applicant's overall employability, ensuring the protection of the current people, property, and information of the organization.

Some positions at Techwise require an applicant’s eligibility to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.   All positions requiring a security clearance will go through an investigative process to determine an applicant’s suitability to gain access to classified information.

TechWise is committed to a safe, healthy, and productive work environment for all employees free from the effects of substance abuse.  Abuse of alcohol, drugs, and controlled substances impairs employee judgment, resulting in increased safety risks, injuries, and faulty decision-making.  Therefore, working after the apparent use of alcohol, a controlled substance, or abuse of any other substances is prohibited.

 If applying on-line poses a hardship to any applicant with a disability, please contact the TechWise Human Resources/Recruitment department at (719) 591-9966.  The Human Resources/Recruitment department will assist applicants needing a reasonable accommodation to meet the closing date of the open position.

All Applicants must specify to which position they are applying to if an applicant wants to be considered for additional positions they must submit separate applications to each position.  To be considered an applicant you must meet the basic qualifications for the position for which you are applying.  Resumes should be in the form of a Microsoft Word Document. There is no standard format required for the resume, but it should list your Skills, Knowledge and Abilities that are relevant to the position of consideration.  However, should you be selected for interview an application must be completed and given to the Human Resources/Recruitment department.  TechWise may call any of the references the applicant provides. TechWise retains all qualified applications for 24 months.
