Click Here for : Job Title: Logistics/Maintenance Specialist Department: Operations Reports to: Director of Operations Location: RSF, Colorado Springs, Colorado FLSA Status: Exempt Job Summary: Provide expertise required to fulfill principle duties including areas below: Effectively work with other technical specialists and autonomously at all times, consistent with supervisor’s established framework and Customer’s Mission Goals. Contribute toward strengthening a unified approach to satisfying all contractual obligations with an emphasis on quality products and Customer security requirements. Establish and maintain highest possible feedback ratings from the Customer QAE for areas under your control. Maintain personal eligibility for a Government security clearance. Facilitate communications between Customer and TechWise Management and help capture additional work as opportunities present themselves consistent with Customer needs. Satisfy all internal Company training obligations in a timely and quality fashion. Essential Functions: Experience in multiple (or all) of the following areas: · Unit-level equipment management/inventory/control · Warehouse procedures · Spares tracking · Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) management · Shop and tools management/inventory/control · Hazardous materials management and reduction · Implementing/executing unit-level, standard USAF logistics practices · USAF Technical Orders Library Accounting and Maintenance · Knowledge of AF systems including; Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS) and Logistics Information and Operations Network System (LIONS) supporting maintenance data collection; or unit designated systems --WASP. · Implementing/executing unit-level, standard USAF motor vehicle management practices · Working knowledge of systems including Online Vehicle Interactive Management System (OLVIMS) Education and/or Experience: · High School Diploma or GED. Associates Degree or a higher level of education preferred. · Extensive knowledge and experience in Logistics/Maintenance. · Knowledge of Military Operations, Military Planning, and the function of Military Components, subordinate Unified Commands and various supporting Staff Agencies are essential to successful performance. Qualifications: · Minimum is for applicant to be eligible for access to SECRET US Government classified information on day one of employment. · Preferred (but not required) to be eligible for access to (final) TOP SECRET US Government classified information. Applicant preferred to be eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information via Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/4, Personnel Security Standards and Procedures Governing Eligibility for Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information.
