Job Title: Motor Vehicle Operator (MVO) 1 – Fort Eustis, VA Department: Operations Reports to: Motor Vehicle Supervisor Location: Ft Eustis, VA FLSA Status: Non- Exempt/Service Contract Act
Job Summary: Motor Vehicle Operator (MVO) will operate a variety of vehicles to include the M998 – HMMWV and M1083/M1086 – FMTV and must be willing to be trained and licensed on the M977 – HEMTT and M1120 LHS. The MVO must be able to obtain and hold a military driver’s license and a military Defensive Driver’s Course (DDC) Card. The MVO must be able to support and participate in tactical and non-tactical convoys, field training exercises, and all other training support required by the US Army Transportation School’s (TSCH) Program of Instruction (POI). The MOV will perform daily preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on vehicles IAW TSCH policies and regulations. Essential Functions/Requirements: • Performs all operator-level service support • Dispatches vehicles IAW policies and regulations • Maintains vehicle logbooks • Corrects or reports all vehicle deficiencies • Transports all types of cargo and personnel safely • Secures cargo and equipment against inclement weather, pilferage, and damage • Removes and repairs tires • Assists in vehicle recovery of a dead lined vehicle • Properly parks vehicles IAW motor pool rules and regulations • Prepares vehicles for field exercises • Wears Kevlar, LBE, and carries “Dummy” weapon • Reacts to indirect fire/ambush in support of role player activities • Completes accident forms when applicable Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift 70 pounds to meet support of troop movement and vehicle maintenance • Ability to mount/dismount large and oversized tactical vehicles • Ability to properly wear military uniform and equipment • Ability to perform role-playing operations when called upon. Qualifications: • Possess a valid Virginia State Class B CDL (or CDL A) • Meet Department Of Transportation pre-physical and annual physical requirements, as well as participation in the drug and alcohol testing program IAW DOT regulations • Previous military experience preferred • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing • Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent • No more than one moving violation in the past 3 years (review of DMV record required) • Must be 21 years or older. • No DUI offences NOTE: The preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees with this classification. The MVS is responsible for supervising all planning aspects of vehicle convoy operations. The MVO must have excellent judgment and mentorship skills. As a minimum performs, coordinates and supervises transporting of all types of cargo and personnel to include supervising all planning, preparation, execution, and post-execution operations; plans, organizes, and operates a motor vehicle convoy; performs convoy routes reconnaissance; commands a convoy march unit or serial. The individual must possess military leadership experience at the battalion and/or brigade level with expertise in logistical operations, training, leader development, convoy operations, and vehicle recovery operations. Must be able to properly wear military equipment and be able to perform role-playing operations when called upon. Supervise, operate, and perform basic operator-level communication tasks. Must possess a valid CDL, and at least three (3) years military driving experience. Must also be willing to participate in the drug and alcohol testing program as required by state and federal regulation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Prepares, organizes, and issues OPORD (Operations Order) for training exercises Plans, organizes, and operates a motor vehicle convoy Performs convoy route reconnaissance. Job Title: Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction for Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (CWMD JIPOE) Analyst Department: Operations Reports to: Director of Operations Location: Offutt Air Force Base (AFB), NE (8 positions) Fort Belvoir, VA (2 positions) FLSA Status: Exempt JOB SUMMARY: TechWise is looking for outstanding individuals with experience to produce relevant, timely, and actionable intelligence to satisfy Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE) requirements used by joint intelligence organizations at Offutt AFB, NE or Fort Belvoir, VA.
