COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – June 3, 2011 – TechWise is pleased to announce a major OCONUS Contract award, to provide Training Support Services in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The company has opened its new office in Abu Dhabi, UAE, co-located with Prime Contractor Knowledge Point, an Emirati Training, Education, and Consulting Company.
TechWise received a warm welcome from the UAE and is excited to strengthen this new relationship. TechWise’s CEO and CFO enjoyed spending time in Abu Dhabi and Dubai getting to know the area, meeting local Emiratis, and working with local businesses. Shawnee Huckstep, TechWise CEO, has completed several trips to the UAE and is beginning to feel familiar with the area and its customs.
TechWise provides strategic training planning products; individual, unit, and collective training; significant experience within US Military Centers of Excellence; and best-of-breed training. The company’s qualification in live, virtual, and simulated training brings a new approach for joint and combined training scenarios. TechWise….When Training Matters Most.
TechWise’s presence for the training project coincided with the 2011 International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) from Sunday 20th to Thursday 24th February at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The 10th Anniversary of IDEX marked TechWise’s first year of participation at the conference. IDEX is the largest defense and security event in the Middle East and North African region and is held every two years. Vehicles, equipment, and crafts were put to the test at IDEX 2011 in live, land mobility, and waterborne demonstrations. The daily displays were an opportunity to see products in live dynamic environments rather than on static display.
