COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – December 23, 2014 – TechWise today announced that it will begin operations as the prime contractor for the Support Base Services (SBS) contract at Fort Carson, Colorado on January 1, 2015. The TechWise team will augment Garrison personnel over a three-year effort to support the mobilization, deployment, redeployment, and demobilization mission at Fort Carson. TechWise will assist the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization, and Security with a challenging set of management, administration, supplies, materials, and labor activities in support of deploying.
SBS is the primary U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) contract vehicle to obtain Garrison Augmentation Support Services that exceed organic capabilities in supporting the Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN) process. IMCOM’s support of the ARFORGEN process, in an era of persistent conflict, is typified by surges related to Active Component deployment/redeployment and restationing, and Reserve Component mobilization/deployment/redeployment and demobilization. TechWise, with its expertise and focus on delivering world-class support, logistics, and training for U.S. Department of Defense and military personnel, will lead the effort to ensure that Fort Carson-based Soldiers receive the support they need to meet the Army’s changing requirements as they mobilize, deploy, and return home to their loved ones.
