COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado/USA – TechWise today announced that it will begin Air Traffic Control services for the United States Coast Guard Air Station in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. TechWise will provide support for Air Traffic Control and Weather Observation services at what is the sole Coast Guard Aviation facility in the Northeast, responsible for the waters from New Jersey to the Canadian border, operating 24 hours-a-day and in all weather conditions.
This program is an outgrowth of TechWise’s current role managing, operating, and maintaining airfield flight operations at Biggs Army Airfield, Fort Bliss, Texas, supporting a high ops-tempo environment around the tenth longest runway in the United States and the longest runway in the United States Army.
“TechWise is extremely honored to be able to support our men and women in uniform and help protect them as they go out in harm’s way. It is a privilege to be selected by our nation to assume responsibilities for such a critical mission”, remarked Shawnee Huckstep, TechWise President and CEO. “This award reflects the continued commitment TechWise has in supporting military aviation.”
