TechWise started over 23 years ago as an IT training and software consulting company. Since then, it has grown and diversified into a multi-national government, military, and business consulting and services organization with headquarters in both the United States and the United Arab Emirates.

TechWise’s ability to proactively adapt to changing environments and needs, while maintaining its focus on technology and systems-based solutions has garnered the company strong revenue growth and multiple industry and leadership awards. Since its original charter, TechWise has expanded its core competencies to include Strategic analysis; Doctrine and policy; training, exercises and operational support; and staff augmentation for military and government clients, to name a few.

Shawnee Starr

Chief Executive Officer

Shawnee Starr is the founder and CEO of the TechWise Group of Companies.  She grew up in Texas and graduated from Baylor University in Computer Science.  She has combined her skills at analytical problem solving and her passion for building high performing teams to create an International Group of Companies helping both defense and commercial companies improve performance.  She has led teams across the world focused on analyzing problems related to capability development, corporate efficiencies, human learning, and retention. Her companies have delivered on over 1000 contracts world wide with testimonials across the globe. With over 20 years of training and consulting experience in the Technology and Defense sectors, Shawnee has developed TechWise into a recognized integrator and management consulting firm.

Matthieu Isaia

President

Matthieu is from Monaco, studied in London and Los Angeles. Matthieu has lived and worked in Monte Carlo, Dubai, Los Angeles, London, and Prague. Matthieu has over 20 years of experience in International Business Development, Management and Consulting, and Corporate Leadership. Leveraging his expertise across multiple financial and business sectors— Defense, Aviation, Private and Commercial Real-Estate Development, Investment and Transactional Relationships, Multi-Media Development, information and technology development and transfers—Matthieu has designed and executed successful business strategies at all levels of economic, financial, and corporate activity.

Becky Mitchell

Executive Administrator

Becky started with TechWise in 2003, when TechWise conducted technical training and development classes. Since then, she has been involved in pretty much all the aspects of the business (accounting, human relations, marketing, etc.).

William Morgan

Business Development

William is from Alabama and spent over 21 years in the U.S. Army as a Cavalry Scout, developing extensive subject matter expertise in Armor and Cavalry Operations. He has served in multiple leadership roles, from Squad Leader to a Cavalry Troop First Sergeant. He also served as a Drill Sergeant, Division Operations Sergeant, and as the Deputy Commandant at a Noncommissioned Officer Academy. After leaving the service in 2013, he worked for TechWise in Abu Dhabi, UAE as a Doctrinal Advisor. Most recently, he served the U.S. Army’s Space and Missile Defense Command as an instructor before returning to TechWise to serve in Business Development. William and his wife of over 20 years reside in Colorado Springs with their two children.

Jodi Sturghill

Finance and Accounting

As a detail-oriented and dedicated accounting professional, Jodi has been meeting the accounting, finance and administration support needs for small defense based government contractors for the past 20 years. She has been with TechWise since 2010. Jodi enjoys learning and participating in all areas of the TechWise business, sharing her knowledge and expertise to help in business growth and forward success. Outside of TechWise, Jodi enjoys exercising, baking ans spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
